LANSING (WKZO) -- Some republicans are calling it a misunderstanding, others are calling it a scandal after a dispute over the distribution of delegates following this week’s Michigan republican primary. The Santorum campaign is calling it “political thuggery”.
An early memo stated that two at-large delegates would be awarded proportionately, but now they say that memo was in error and they have given the two delegates to Mitt Romney because he got 3% more votes.
Santorum Advisor John Brabender is not a happy man. He compares it to the kind of election manipulation you might see in Iran, not the U.S.They plan to ask the national party to intercede.
