KALAMAZOO (WKZO)  --  Homeland Security is sending over half a million dollars to Kalamazoo Public Safety to literally pump up their operation. The Department plans to spend the money on Air Tanks, and custom fitted face pieces that allow PSO’s to walk into burning buildings, filled with deadly smoke and rescue fire victims. They also want to get a tank filling station. Lives will likely be saved as a result.
