KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP (WKZO) -- The Kalamazoo Township Board has rescheduled a discussion of how to fill the vacancy created by the death of Supervisor Terri Mellinger until a July 9th work session.
The decision to delay came after they offered their heartfelt condolences and sense of loss at her death after a prolonged medical fight.
Township Clerk Don Thall says they aren’t prepared yet to lay out all their options for filling the term, but he will be by the July 9th meeting.
Visitation for Terri Mellinger is set for 1 to 2pm Thursday at Langeland’s Funeral home on 9th street, to be followed by the funeral and a reception at the Westwood Community room.
