The Pirates’ Brad Lincoln allowed two hits and a run in six innings, while Andrew McCutchen hit a three run homer, giving them an early lead on the Tigers. This was the tigers third of four losses this series. Max Scherzer rejoined Tigers after being away from the team, giving up three runs, three hits, and seven strikeouts.
