Alec Baldwin Drops His Pants on 'Letterman' — VIDEO

By Kelly Schremph, Hollywood.com Staff

Alec Baldwin is never afraid to let it all hang out, whether it be in a literal or figurative sense. And during his Wednesday night appearance on the Late Show With David Letterman, the occasionally hot-headed actor managed to cover a little bit of both. To the audience's delight, Baldwin kicked off the interview by dropping his trousers as a way to prove that he's lost weight.

But the 30 Rock star's half-naked stunt was just the appetizer to the evening's main course of discussion. The late night host quickly shifted the conversation to the (pantless?) elephant in the room: Baldwin's reported scuffle with a New York Daily News photographer. And right on cue, Baldwin went straight for the heart of the matter and turned the incident into one big joke.

""I'm forming the letter 'F' with my mouth,"" Baldwin said, in reference to the photo of him aggressively lunging at the photographer. But Baldwin insists that the image isn't what it looks like. ""I said to him, as I walked to him: What F-stop are you using on the camera?"" Of course, this joking tactic really shouldn't come as much of a surprise. It is, after all, the third step of his Three-Step Controversy Process.
