Video Game Review: Pins and Needles for Diablo 3

Like most other avid gamers I was on pins and needles waiting for Diablo 3 to be released. After my 12 year wait, I was a mere hours away from playing and BOOM my computer blows up. So after a 12 year, 3 week wait (repairs) I was finally able to give the game a go and can now write you a review on my opinion of the game.

Starting off, did you love Diablo 2? If the answer is yes then go buy this game right now, stop reading just go. It’s very similar to Diablo 2 except with better graphics, a fantastic interface and a very intriguing storyline. The game is easy to pickup and play. You won’t have much trouble finding where you’re supposed to go and what you’re supposed to do because the map does a great job of pointing you in the right direction. It also doesn’t take too long to beat on normal difficulty and since there are extra difficulty settings you will be playing forever…I mean forever, good luck in inferno mode. Saving the best for last, you can make money playing the game! Diablo 3 has a real money auction house where you can sell items to other players.

When it comes to the cons of this game I can only think of a few problems. First off, do you have a computer capable of running this game? I even have trouble playing on my gaming computer sometimes. Another minor problem is that the story and gameplay can get repetitive. Any Diablo lover won’t have a problem with this but someone picking up Diablo for the first time might get bored playing the same story over and over.

Overall if you’re looking for a way to kill time, have fun, and maybe make some extra bucks Diablo 3 is worth picking up. It’s $59.99 which isn’t cheap but it is the going rate for new games nowadays. As long as you have a capable computer I suggest getting it or downloading it from the blizzard website if you’re too lazy to get to the store like me.
