DETROIT, MI (WKZO) - The Colorado Rockies came into Comerica Park Friday on the heels of an 8 game losing streak, while the Tigers had taken two of three in Chicago against the Cubs...so of course, the Rockies' bats woke up against Tiger pitching.  Willin Rosario smacked a two-run single, and Carlos Gonzalez hit a three-run home run to highlight an 8 run 10th inning, as the Rockies ended their losing streak, 12-4.  Jose Valverde came on in the extra frame and was tagged with the loss.  The two teams play game 2 of the weekend set on Saturday afternoon, with broadcast time on AM 590 WKZO set for 3:40 pm.
