WAYLAND (WKZO) -- Wayland attorney Patrick Schyler Burson has not been charged, but he is being investigated for possibly manufacturing methampthetamines.
The W-MET Drug Enforcement Team reportedly found what appeared to be active meth labs at Burson's office on Superior Street in Wayland and at his home north of Otsego on Wednesday. They also seized one-thousand dollars cash.
Friends and colleagues all say Burson is a respected member of the bar and a good attorney. Actual charges won't be filed until lab results verify to the standards of the court that it was indeed a meth cook.
