LANSING (WKZO) -- Officials working on the new bridge between Detroit and Windsor say Governor Rick Snyder and leaders from Canada and the U.S. will detail plans for the new span on Friday.
The bridge will be located approximately two miles downriver from the Ambassador Bridge. Snyder has been working behind the scenes to get the bridge built after not getting full support from legislators.
Construction costs for the new bridge will be paid by tolls for users and an international authority will oversee the work on the bridge.
