LOS ANGELES (WKZO) - Who'd have thunk this- with the Lakers, the Clippers, even the Dodgers...the top team in LA is the Kings.  LA put the pressure on New Jersey early and often, scoring 5 times against Martin Brodeur, adding an empty net goal, and defeated the Devils 6-1 to take the first NHL title in their 45 year history.  The Kings also become the first 8th seed to win the Cup.  G Jonathan Quick was awarded the Conn Smythe Trophy as the MVP of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
