GRAND JUNCTION (WZKO) -- Van Buren County Deputies are looking for the thieves who got away with a boat, several motors, and lots of fishing gear, life preservers and a brand new generator. They also took a canoe.

They broke into a summer cottage off 50th ST. near Grand Junction, and the shed next to it. They used some sort of towing device to break thru a locked fence at the street, and then hooked up the boat trailer. Deputies say they actually had to go down to the lake and bring the 14-foot boat on shore to put it on the trailer.

Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious should call the Van Buren County Sheriffs Department.
