Cubs DeJesus's homerun not enough to win

San Francisco, California (WKZO) - The Cubs lost 2-1 to the Giants in San Franciso today with 2 games to go in the sweep. Despite a homerun by DeJesus in the bottom of the 4th, Chicago lost today making it their 9th straight loss.

San Francisco’s Matt Cain allowed a leadoff walk to Castro in the 9th. Cain was able to strike out seven before Javier Lopez stepped in to relieve him. Melky Cabrera was able to score a single in the sixth. Garza struck out six and walked one in six innings, while two runs on five hits slid by him. Chicago center-fielder Campana had two hits batting leadoff with Angel Pagan getting a single in the sixth.

The Cubs plays game 3 of the Sweep against the Giants Sunday in San Francisco. Broadcast is set for 4:05pm on 1660 The Fan.
