TORONTO, ONT (1660 THE FAN) - Our neighbors to the north aren't being very neighborly to the Tigers. Game two of the three-game series ended with a final score of 5-1, almost as bad as yesterday's 8-3 clobbering.

Toronto started taking care of business right away, scoring the first run of the game in the bottom of the third, and getting three home-runs along the way (courtesy of Edwin Encarnacion, Colby Rasmus and Yunel Escobar respectively). All the homers were allowed by Detroit's starting pitcher Anibel Sanchez, who lost to Toronto for the second time this season. After this game, the Tigers might regret acquiring Sanchez from Miami earlier this week.

Detroit's only run of the day came from Brennan Boesch's double midway through the fourth inning, which allowed Delmon Young to score.

The Tigers can't win the war at this point, but they might fare better in the final battle, which is on AM 590 WKZO tomorrow at 12:40 PM.
