DETROIT (WKZO) -- Detroit Mayor Dave Bing has blasted state officials for imposing their plans on the city.

While speaking at a packed Detroit NAACP headquarters Tuesday, Bing said that he cannot support the state's proposal to lease Belle Isle for 99-years.  The mayor also took a shot at Governor Rick Snyder saying that he's never seen a governor of the state of Michigan as involved in city politics as Snyder is.

ccording to Bing, he will seek a plan to improve Belle Isle that's more favorable to the city.
