KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- City Commissioner Bob Cinabro urged City Staff to continue working on an ordinance that would limit the use of fireworks to just 30-days a year, as allowed in the state’s new fireworks law.
The 30 days would include 10 major holidays and the days before and after. He says he continues to wake up in the middle of the night to the sound of fireworks going off in his neighborhood. Many other communities have already adopted similar measures.
