WAYLAND (WKZO) -- Casinos continue to be the biggest growth industry in West Michigan. With the addition of more hotel rooms, restaurants and an entertainment facility at Four Winds now open and their second satellite-casino on the drawing board, and a new hotel and other facilities opening at FireKeepers this fall, there has been growth despite the slow economy.

FireKeepers plans a Job fair on Monday from 10AM to 3PM to take applications for the 300 new jobs they plan to create when they add to the gaming floors, and open the new hotel this fall.

They also plan to add a 2,000 seat auditorium for concerts and other events. They are also adding a 6th restaurant.
