NEW YORK (WKZO) -- The American Homebrewers Association has released its 2012 list of the best beers in America and Kalamazoo’s Bells Brewery placed two beers on the list. Bell’s “Two Hearted Ale” finished 2nd, and their “Hopslam” came in 6th.

The Association’s magazine conducts the annual poll and more than 16-thousand, mostly home brewers participated.

Some critics say the poll tends to favor popular beers in wide distribution, because more people can sample them.
