VAN BUREN CO. (WKZO) -- It was a quick turn around for the Van Buren County Sheriff's Department Thursday. Shortly after sending out a news release regarding stolen farm equipment, they had a lead from the public.
Apparently a chisel plow that had been stolen was found having been sold to a scrap yard. Investigators called the farmer in and he identified it as the one that was swiped. Other items stolen include 100-feet long auger cables and hog gestation crate parts.
An investigation into the matter is still being pursued.
