KALAMAZOO (WKZO) – A severe storm is headed for West Michigan Thursday and could bring up to 12 inches of snow by Friday night. The snow will follow a strong arctic cold front that will be reaching West Michigan around 4 PM.

AccuWeather radar has issued a winter storm warning in effect from 4 PM Thursday until 7 PM Friday.  A hazardous conditions warning is also in effect as temperature fall below freezing and snow begins to accumulate on the roads.
