CENTREVILLE (WKZO) -- The cooperation of a witness is being credited with helping Michigan State Police stop a possible planned sex crime in St. Joseph County. Troopers responding to a call of a suspicious vehicle in Centreville found a van furnished with a makeshift bed, stuffed animals and candy.
The 19-year-old driver told troopers he was meeting 17 and 18-year-old girls, but the teens were actually 14-years-old. He allegedly arranged the meeting through Facebook.
