KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Kalamazoo Township police have arrested a man who broke into a former girlfriend’s home in the 1300-block of Coolidge Sunday afternoon.
She returned home and caught him in the act and he fled, breaking into another home nearby to hide out from police. That homeowner also came home and alerted police still at the first home, that it appeared someone had broken into their home too.
With the homeowner’s permission, a search was conducted and the 33-year-old Kalamazoo man was found hiding inside and arrested.
He is being held in the Kalamazoo County Jail for home invasion and aggravated stalking.
