AUBURN HILLS (WKZO) -- December sales at Chrysler Group were up by 37-percent compared to one year ago.  The automaker sold over 138-thousand vehicles last month, its best performance since May of 2008.

Chrysler officials say they have had seven consecutive months of sales gains of at least 20 percent.  Strong sales figures were reported for the Chrysler 200 and 300 sedans, the Dodge Charger and Avenger, and Jeep Grand Cherokee, Wrangler, and Compass.
