KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- William Wright Jr. has entered a guilty plea for shooting at Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Deputy Jeff Nichols last month.  He officially pleaded Tuesday to intent to commit murder, fleeing and eluding police, and felony use of a firearm.  Seven additional charges were dropped, and now he could be sentenced to life in prison.  Wright's sentencing is scheduled for March 19th.
