KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Kalamazoo Township police officers were called to the area of West Main and Nichols in the early hours of Tuesday morning this week to look into some "suspicious people." It was discovered that there were numerous thefts from vehicles in the area. They tracked suspects back to an apartment in the 100-block of North Kendall, obtained a search warrant, and found what is believed to have been several stolen items taken from vehicles.
Police say some victims may not even be aware of theft from their vehicle yet and ask residents to contact them if they suspect something may have been stolen from their vehicle or garage. They also want to remind everyone to lock their vehicle doors, as unlocked vehicles are easy targets for thieves.
