HOLLAND (WHTC) - Students at Hope, Calvin and Aquinas colleges downed a lot of Corn Flakes and Rice Krispies, all in the name of helping West Michigan food banks. Students at the three colleges ate more than 20,000 bowls of cereal during the month of December as part of the “Share The Bowl” campaign, put on by Creative Dining Services and Kellogg’s, during which the cereal company pledged to match every bowl consumed by students in donations. Kellogg’s donated 228 cases of cereal to Kids’ Food Basket in Grand Rapids, a program that fights childhood hunger in the metro area.
