DETROIT, MICH (WSAU) The Milwaukee Bucks shut out Brandon Knight in a game earlier this week, but the rookie paid them back with a 26-point effort last night, leading Detroit to an 88-80 win. The victory ended the Pistons’ seven-game losing streak.
The Bucks had won three in a row coming in, highlighted by that come-from-behind win over Miami Wednesday. They just didn’t have it. Scoring 11 points in a row brought Milwaukee to within four, but they never caught up.
Brandon Jennings scored 20 for the Bucks. Shaun Livingston added 14, but it wasn’t enough to avoid the eight-point loss. Bad shooting killed the Bucks. They hit only 35 percent from the floor.
Milwaukee will host Chicago tonight.
