KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Those who want to read a hard copy of the Kalamazoo Gazette will now have to have to pick it up at a newsstand or a vending machine.
This is the day they start home deliveries three days a week and will put the main focus and effort into an online product.
Dr. Leigh Ford, the Director of the Communications School at Western Michigan University said the internet has made the traditional newspaper obsolete as a business model. But, she isn’t sure this new model is sustainable either.
Ford said there may always be a market for the Sunday paper but she is sad to see the daily newspaper go away.
