The Rolling Stones have released the second installment of their recently launched series of official bootlegs. Hampton Coliseum (Live 1981) captures the band at a December 18, 1981, concert in Virginia at their next-to-last U.S. show in support of the Tattoo You album. Keith Richards celebrated his 38th birthday at the gig, which was taped for a pay-per-view special. The concert also featured an infamous incident where an overzealous fan took to the stage and tried to get to Mick Jagger during "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction," only to have Richards whack him several times with his guitar.
Hampton Coliseum (Live 1981) is available only as a digital download -- it can be purchased exclusively in the U.S. at the Android Market website and outside of the States at StonesArchiveStore.com . The recording was remixed by longtime Stones engineer Bob Clearmountain .
