DETROIT (WKZO) -- Detroit Lions Head Coach Jim Schwartz addressed the media for his final press conference of 2012 Monday. On the list of topics covered was Wide Receiver Titus Young's status with the team. Young had been sent home for most of the second half of the season following several incidents that were deemed detrimental to the success of the football team. (Widely reported was lining up incorrectly on purpose during a game this season.)
Young however is apparently not out of the teams plans for 2013 and Schwartz said there is "still a window there". Schwartz also told the media his biggest regret of 2012 was throwing the challenge flag during the Thanksgiving Day game against the Houston Texans.
Finally he commented on the future of Jahvid Best as a Lions running back saying: "That's out of my hands as a coach."
