WAYNE (WKZO) -- After nearly two-years, the cause of an explosion that killed two people at William C. Franks Furniture Store remains a mystery. December 29th marked the two-year anniversary of the explosion that demolished the store, killed two employees and seriously injured the owner.
The Michigan Public Service Commission has yet to release a report on the incident, however officials say one will be released soon. Consumers Energy officials also investigated the explosion, which was believed to be caused by a natural gas leak, however the company has been withholding comment pending the release of the commission's report.
