PORTAGE (WKZO) -- The City of Portage is looking forward to the New Year because it will mean a year long anniversary party.
Portage Mayor Pete Strazdas says that in 2013 the city will turn 50.
They plan to celebrate the city's 50th birthday with a series of events all year long. Portage was officially incorporated on December 31st, 1963.
