PRAIRIEVILLE TOWNSHIP (WKZO) -- Officials in Barry County say the driver in a weather related crash that killed a woman could face additional charges, depending on the results of blood tests.

Prairieville Township officers now say 42-year old Melissa Jo Ulferts was killed when a car she was riding in slid off of snow covered Cressy Road and struck at tree Wednesday evening.

The driver, her husband, 42-year-old Elvin Kizziar has been charged with driving on a suspended license causing death.

He reportedly has a record of driving violations that fills 9 pages and dates back 16 years. Ulferts died at the scene. Kizziar suffered minor injuries in the crash.
