TRAVERSE CITY (WKZO) -- A Traverse City man is free on bond after being charged with second degree child abuse for allegedly spraying an infant in the face with 130-degree water.
Police were called to the emergency room at Munson Medical Center when a doctor treated second degree burns on the infant’s face. The child was transferred to the University of Michigan Burn Center.
The suspect, Robert Floyd, is a friend of the baby’s mother. The infant was left in his care last Saturday night.
