KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- It’s Kalamazoo’s biggest annual New Years Eve party. Thousands are expected to attend New Years fest which will provide a showcase of the arts that will last all evening long for just 5 dollars.
Organizer Deb Droppers says they seek support from corporate sponsors and foundation grants to make it affordable.
She recommends getting your buttons in advance, because the prices go up on New Years Eve, that’s if they are available. .
She says they are on sale at Harding’s stores.
Droppers says this year they will set up a tent in Bronson park, and reserved it for the kids until 9 and then they will turn it into a venue for dancing after that.
As is now tradition, New Years Fest will begin with Tuba New Year and conclude with the fireworks at midnight.
