BATTLE CREEK (WKZO) -- Battle Creek’s Habitat for Humanity has moved their ReStore facility into a temporary new home at 5700 Beckley Road behind the Target store in a former grocery store that has been vacant since 2009. Their old location burned in November and the new accommodations will permit the operation, which recycles and resells building materials, furniture, and hardware, to operate while they look for a permanent home. Funds from the store support the organization’s operational costs so they can devote all their donations to new housing.
