OTSEGO (WKZO) -- Former Allegan County attorney Patrick Burson, who is charged with firing up meth labs in his law offices in downtown Wayland, and at his home in Otsego Township, has waived arraignment and will go directly to trial.  Waiving the hearing will prevent a sneak preview of the prosecution’s case from being publicized in the media before his trial, perhaps making it easier to seat an unbiased jury.  His girlfriend and former secretary also face charges in the case.
