STURGIS (WKZO) -- Sturgis Police are searching for an attempted armed robbery suspect that stuck up a Sturgis Walmart.
Around 8 p.m. Wednesday a man went into the store and reportedly gained the confidence of management before asking if they could speak privately. It was about then that his real intentions were revealed when an employee spotted that he had a handgun. He didn't get any money and fled the store, leaving in a red mid-sized sedan.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 50s, standing around five-feet, ten-inches in height with a medium build who at the time was wearing a brown dress hat, a dark colored suit, and a tan full-length dress coat.
