UNDATED (WKZO) -- Gas prices have spiked between Christmas and New Years 6 of the last 7 years as oil firms draw down supplies for tax purposes, and when the supply shrinks, Pollster Trilby Lundberg says the price goes up.
It’s resulted in a 20-cent spike in West Michigan. Prices have popped up to $3.39 a gallon at many stations.
It was nice while it lasted.
