DETROIT (WHTC) - Ryan Radcliff threw for 253 yards and three touchdowns, including an 11-yard scoring strike to Cody Wilson with 5:11 remaining Wednesday night, to lift Central Michigan to a 24-21 victory over Western Kentucky in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl at Ford Field in Detroit. The Chippewas took an early 17-7 lead, but the Hilltoppers rallied to take a 21-17 lead early in the fourth quarter before Radcliff directed the game-winning drive. Western Kentucky passed up a potential game-tying field goal with two minutes remaining and went for it on 4th-and-2 inside the CMU 20, but the defense forced an incomplete pass and the Chippewas held on. Central won its last four games after a 3-6 start to give Coach Dan Enos his first winning season in three years in Mount Pleasant.
