KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- They didn’t sound at all enthusiastic about it, but the Kalamazoo County Board has approved a 1.1-million dollar court settlement with Michelle Selbee of Scotts.

With representation from the Geoffrey Feiger lawfirm, she sued the county after she was set upon by two Deputies, who mistook her for a fleeing felon in October of 2010.

The dashcam recorded the audio as she was pulled from her car by her hair, thrown to the ground, as her 14-year-old son watched in terror.

The County Settled last month and paid off last night.

John and Denise Metzelberg, the suspects the deputies were supposed to be chasing are both serving long prison sentences after crashing their car while fleeing from other deputies that day.
