NEW BUFFALO (WKZO) -- The Berrien County Sheriff's Department has released the names of the  two people killed Saturday in a fiery car crash in New Buffalo Township.  It took a pathologist to positively identify the burned remains of 22-year-old Aleksandra Strikas of Lagrange, Illinois and her passenger, 25-year-old Matthew Ross of Harbert, which is just north of New Buffalo.

Preliminary toxicology tests from the medical examiners office indicate that alcohol was a factor in the crash, but blood samples will be sent to the state lab for testing.
