KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- The Kalamazoo County Board has come in many sizes. It has been as small as nine members and is currently as large as 17. Every ten years, the elections commission sets the size when it redraws district boundaries, usually to secure majorities for one party or the other.
tarting in January, the board will shrink to eleven members. The move is expected to shorten meetings, if only in the time it takes to do a roll-call vote.
