LANSING (WKZO) -- Governor Rick Snyder's popularity has taken a hit since the passing of controversial right-to-work legislation in Michigan.
A poll conducted by the Democratic firm Public Policy Polling of North Carolina found that 38-percent of Michigan voters approved of the governor, while 56-percent disapproved. The numbers mark a significant drop from the firm's last poll, conducted in November, which showed a 47-percent approval rate and 37-percent disapproval rate.
Snyder backed the fast-tracked approval of the controversial right-to-work legislation through the lame-duck Legislature earlier this month.
