LANSING (WKZO) -- Despite all the legislative work by Governor Snyder and majority Republicans in the House and Senate to make Michigan more attractive to businesses, the state is near the bottom nationally.

"Forbes" is out with its list of the Best States for Business, with Michigan ranked 47th.  Rhode Island is right behind, followed by Hawaii and Maine as the worst.  The best state for business is Utah, and nine of the top ten states for business are right-to-work states.
