PLAINFIELD (WKZO) -- The Plainfield Township home of racecar driver Tim DeVos burned Saturday night. An attached auto shop where DeVos built and serviced the cars he drove at Berlin Raceway were completely destroyed.
DeVos was uninjured but his wife, Pat, was hospitalized with burns and smoke inhalation. She is expected to recover.
