KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- Autopsies are planned Monday on a Kalamazoo couple found dead in their home by police about 2:30 Sunday morning.

Friends, neighbors and relatives have no idea why Nawfal Rachdi would murder his wife, Andrea, and then kill himself. They say everything appeared to be fine with the couple and their 3-small children.  There were no previous reports of domestic trouble at their small single story home at 2203 Lakeway Ave. in the Milwood neighborhood, where they had lived for a year and a half.

Police did get a report of a problem early Sunday morning from a friend of the female victim. When officers arrived at the home it was quiet, but they could see a person lying on the floor from the outside, and forced their way in.

They found the body of the 29-year-old woman and a 25-year old man, and evidence leading them to suspect it was a murder suicide.

The children were not home at the time. Police have not released how they died.
