ANN ARBOR (WKZO) -- The Broncos are on a five game winning streak heading into their weekend matchup with the Wolverines. Western Michigan swept their last two opponenets, Northern Michigan and Ferris State. Their Saturday win over Ferris was sparked with two late third period goals from Chase Balisy and Mike Leone to keep the winning streak alive.
Now the Broncos must face a Michigan team that has dominated them in the past. The Wolverines hold a 68-29-10 edge over the Broncos all time and a 41-12-2 lead in Ann Arbor. Western has had a better season this year as their record stands at 10-3-1, while Michigan is at 5-8-2.
