VAN BUREN COUNTY (WKZO) -- High emotions, but no decision at the preliminary hearing for David Johnson, the Van Buren County man charged with allegedly causing the crash that killed three people, including two little girls from South Haven last month.

The Prosecutor has charged Johnson with three counts of Second Degree murder, but testimony yesterday revealed that little KandIce and Cassadi Berryhill might have survived the crash had they been put in proper child restraint seats. The driver, 24-year-old Brittney King also died in the crash.

It was also revealed that Johnson, who has previous drunk driving convictions had a blood alcohol count that was four times the legal limit.

Yesterday they heard testimony from officers at the scene, the trauma doctor and Justin Berryhill, the other survivor of the crash.

On Monday, when the hearing resumes they will hear from the pathologist who did the autopsies.
