BATTLE CREEK (WKZO) -- A Battle Creek man has been formally charged with the shooting death of his roommate after what family members say was an argument over a woman. Robert Reno was arraigned for the Murder of Ian Millard, who was gunned down on the driveway of the home they both shared on Vale Street.

Reno called 9-1-1 and reported the shooting, waiting for police to arrive, but denied shooting his 24-year old roommate. He is being held without bond.He is also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and a felony firearm count
