KALAMAZOO (WKZO) -- A second man arrested this week for his involvement in a cold case murder in Kalamazoo has now been formally charged. 45-year-old Randy Pookey Smith is being held without bond after he has now been charged with open murder and being a felon in possession of a gun.

He is charged with shooting and killing 38-year-old Joseph Salib in the front yard of his home in the 15-hundred block of Beacon Street on October 3rd, 2010.]

51-year old Ricky Dixon was charged with perjury earlier this week and is being held on $5000 bond.
